She coordinates clinical training programs and provincial licensing examinations, and serves on CADDRA’s Board and Guidelines Committee, influencing national standards in mental health care.

Katherine Ember

From Oxford to Edinburgh to Montréal, Katherine has pioneered optical technologies that transform how we detect disease in real time. Her research has generated patent-pending diagnostic tools, $3.9M in funding, and a successful spin-off translating lab discoveries into real-world health solutions. With 40+ researchers mentored, 17 publications, 22 international conference talks, and multiple awards, she brings both scientific depth and visionary leadership to Aion’s biomarker mission.

Dr. Alexandre Hudon

Dr. Alexandre Hudon is a psychiatrist, a regular researcher at the Montreal Mental Health University Institute (IUSMM and CR-IUSMM), as well as an assistant clinical professor at the University of Montreal in the Department of Psychiatry and Addictology. Passionate about innovations and digital technologies, his research focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence into clinical psychiatry, modeling violence and rare phenomena, and the use of digital technologies in the teaching and learning of health sciences.
